World O! Water
is In-Person for 2024!

World O! Water is the perfect free family-friendly active outdoor educational experience. Individuals and groups of all sizes are welcome to attend this once-a-year interactive program. For your safety and convenience, please observe the following policies and recommendations.

What about wet weather on the day of World O! Water?

While we hope it doesnʼt rain, it is after all, World O! Water! Should inclement weather occur, please check for notices on this website and the WO!W Facebook page for updates.

Be Prepared – Bring These Items With You

For your protection and to best take advantage of your time at World O! Water, we ask that you bring the following items:

• Sunscreen
• Re-fillable water bottles
• Reusable bag to store swag and crafts, and prevent litter
• Be ready to be outside and walking in all weather

Parking

It will be most convenient for you to park at the Papio-Missouri River NRD Natural Resource Center parking lot (located just past the 4-way stop when entering the park from the Giles Road entrance).

Handicap Accessible Parking

ADA designated parking spaces are available at the Papio-Missouri River NRD Natural Resource Center parking lot. Vehicles properly displaying valid disabled permit identification may use these spaces.

Dogs Must Be On A Leash

Yes, dogs are welcome to attend but must be kept on a leash at all times. Keep an eye on your dog to make sure he doesnʼt get overheated and be mindful of hot pavement. Water will be available for all dogs. All pet owners must pickup and throw away their pet’s waste.
